Beatriz González-Stephan joined our faculty in the spring of 2001.  She received her Ph.D. in 1985 in Latin American literatures, from the University of Pittsburgh.

Gisela Heffes joined our faculty in July, 2009.  She graduated from Yale University in 2007, with a Ph.D. in Latin America literature.

J. Bernardo PérezJ. Bernardo Pérez

J. Bernardo Pérez joined the department in 1980.  He graduated in 1972, with a Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of Iowa.

José ArandaJosé Aranda

José Aranda joined the English Department faculty in 1994, and became a member, serving as chairman of the Hispanic Studies Department in July, 2007.  He received his Ph.D. in 1995 in American literature from Brown University.

Luis Duno-Gottberg joined our faculty in July, 2008.  He received his Ph.D. in 2000, in Latin American literature from the University of Pittsburgh.
